Looking to lift my 2001 Sequoia 2-3” so I can run 33” tires on 17” wheels !
I like OME and bilstein products,
What front coil/shock in OME do you recommend?
I just watched your video on the rear coil/shock OME !
Will I need spacers on the front wheels to make a 285/70/17 tire fit or will the lift take care of all my spacing needs?
Keep up the great videos!
Thank you ,
Thanks for your question. For the front, I like OME 2885 springs here:
And OME 90004 shocks here:
These will give you about 2" in the front.
I noticed that the episode2 video is not working on your site right now. With that said, I have the exact same sequoia as you are showing on the videos even the same body color. I want to put 33" tires with 20" rims and when I have the funds add the cool front bumper you sell. Should I go with the complete kit and add the Total Chaos 1" diff drop. https://www.1stgenoffroad.com/store/p64/OLD_MAN_EMU_COMPLETE_SUSPENSION_KIT.html Or. should I piece meal the purchase and buy the parts that you show in each video for the lift.
I like the ARB Old Man Emu kit. The shocks and springs are made to go together and in my opinion, are a better quality and offer a better quality ride. Also, the rear Bilstein 5100s are a little too short. Stick with the kit and you'll be in good shape. If you're planning to add a heavy front bumper (like the brute force fab bumper) go with the ARB 2886 spring instead of the 2885 front spring. The kit comes with the 2885 spring but if you let me know in the comments at checkout, I can add the 2886 spring instead. Same price. And I love my 2862 rear spring but if I add a rear aftermarket bumper, I'm going to the 2860 spring. Hope this makes sense. Thanks!
